With Charging-as-a-Service, you get a needs-based charging infrastructure for eBusses at your own depot without having to invest in setting it up yourself. Daimler Buses takes over the financing, coordinates the implementation and then operates the system - including maintenance and service. Invoicing is based on a contractually agreed price per kilowatt hour charged. This keeps operating costs plannable, responsibilities clear and the charging supply reliable.

This offer is aimed at cities, municipalities and location operators who want to upgrade their areas with publicly accessible charging points - for example in existing parking spaces at tourist destinations. We check the location potential and are responsible for planning, building and operating the charging infrastructure. Refinancing takes place through the sale of the charging current. This creates additional charging infrastructure for electric buses without you as the location provider having to invest yourself or organise ongoing operations.
